Jenn is a Founding Board Member of the Parks & Trails Foundation of Cedar Park, appointed by the city following her work on the City Council’s Parks, Arts and Community Enrichment Board. With the committee dissolved in favor of the foundation, she brings experience in advocating for the importance of parks and trails in promoting the overall health and wellness of the community.
A proud Cedar Park resident for 17 years, Jenn discovered her passion for the Cedar Park community while serving as Band Booster President for Vista Ridge High School. In her role as board Chair, she is most proud of the strong partnership the foundation has cultivated with the city’s parks department, as well as the launch of events designed to encourage community participation and fundraising.
Jenn lives in Cedar Park with her husband, Chris, and dog, Lucy, and enjoys traveling and spending time with their three adult children. In addition to her work with the foundation, she serves as a vice-president at a Fortune 150 healthcare insurance company, where she applies her leadership and strategic planning skills to drive innovation and success. She is excited to build the foundation into a valued partner for the city, local companies, and residents, ensuring that Cedar Park continues to enhance its Parks & Trails while growing and retaining its status as an ideal place for families to thrive.

She has served on many local boards and committees relating to education, community affairs, arts and cultural enrichment. As a professional real estate agent, she has her pulse on the needs, growth and quality of life for Cedar Park residents. Christina's previous career in non-profit administration gives her the unique perspective of community building, combining her passions and skills to serve. As a long time Cedar Park resident with her family of four, Christina has seen the City evolve and grow. She is committed to preserving green space, enhancing quality of life and creating more opportunities for residents to gather, socialize, meet their neighbors, grow, learn and build a strong sense of community. Christina believe that the Parks & Trails Foundation is the perfect catalyst to bring people together for a common cause while building a committed and sustainable community focused coalition of residents, businesses, local governments and non profit organizations committed to improving the quality of life for all Cedar Park residents for years to come.

Callie is a Founding Board Member of the Parks & Trails Foundation of Cedar Park. Callie been a long-time resident of Cedar Park since 2005 and a local business owner since 2014. With her deep appreciation of our city’s history and its dedication to creating green spaces, Callie joined the Parks and Trails Foundation board in 2024. Ultimately her passion is to help educate the community about the availability of these spaces and to advocate for the preservation, improvement, and expansion of the city’s parks, trails, and outdoor programs. Currently serving as treasurer, Callie works closely with the board and donors to maintain transparency and financial integrity while fostering a deeper connection between residents and the City’s parks. Having enjoyed local parks through various life stages—first as a young professional, then as a parent with a young family, and now with teenagers— Callie brings a personal commitment to preserve and enhance these spaces for all community members.

Dan is a Founding Board Member of the Parks & Trails Foundation of Cedar Park and has lived in Cedar Park for 10 years. Dan retired as an enterprise strategic planning consultant for IT and management systems. Subsequently he has authored several books and focuses on community service. In addition to the Parks & Trails Foundation Board, Dan serves on his church board. In the past Dan has served on a school board in New Jersey. Dan also works part time as a training consultant at the YMCA.
Dan has been a dedicated environmentalist since his youth. In college Dan participated in the world’s first Earth Day, helping clean up a polluted campus creek. Dan provided IT support to an international study of pollution sources affecting the Great Lakes. While living in Arizona, Dan became a certified trail builder and helped create and maintain trails in Phoenix area mountain preserves.

As a founding member of the Parks and Trails Foundation of Cedar Park, Michelle is dedicated to advancing the organizations mission through her passion for the outdoors and active involvement in initiatives such as Earth Day and Chefs in the Park. In her role on the board, Michelle focuses on supporting corporate engagement
initiatives and aligning strategic partnerships with the foundation's goals. Her extensive experience includes serving as the Austin Chapter Head for Global Charity Akshaya Patra, where she played a key role in securing Deepak Chopra as a keynote speaker for their annual Gala. Michelle has also managed corporate relationships with No Kid Hungry and World Vision and has been an active supporter of various community
organizations, including the Round Rock ISD Partners in Education Foundation,
Backpack Friends of Pflugerville, Williamson County Children's Advocacy Center, I Live Here - I Give Here, American Red Cross, and Tree Folks of Austin. Michelles expertise in corporate social responsibility is highlighted by her work with Austin Green Business Initiatives and LEED Certification, earning recognition for both. She is an active member of several local Chambers of Commerce, including Cedar Park, Round Rock, Leander, and Georgetown, and serves on the Austin Education Council and a board member of the Twin Lake YMCA. This year, Michelle aims to elevate the Parks and Trails Foundation to become a
prominent and recognizable organization among Cedar Park residents and to expand its
mission through strengthened corporate partnerships.

As a small business owner who has called Cedar Park home for over seven years, Kimberly is passionate about the outdoors and values the role of parks and trails in community life. As a parent of four, Kimberly understands the importance of accessible, well-maintained natural areas for families. Her dedication to being in nature and supporting environmental stewardship drives her work with the Foundation, aiming to ensure that Cedar Park’s parks and trails continue to flourish for future generations.

As an outdoor enthusiast, nature lover, and self-described tree hugger, she is dedicated to encouraging others to explore and connect with Cedar Park’s beautiful parks Lynn’s professional journey includes her role as a Brand Experience and Marketing Consultant, where she leverages her expertise to help businesses grow by elevating and enhancing their brand by reaching the customers they want to serve. She is also the Publisher of Cedar Park Neighbors magazine, a hyper-local publication dedicated to fostering community connections and keeping residents informed about local happenings. After graduating from Texas Tech University in 2001, followed by a memorable chapter teaching English in South Korea, she then settled in Cedar Park in 2002, where her love for live music seamlessly integrated with the city’s vibrant culture and outdoor spaces. With a 20-year career in fintech, Lynn has supported regional financial institutions in thriving. Recently, she transitioned to independent contracting and business ownership, allowing her to focus on her passions for community, kindness, and sustainability. This career shift has revitalized her sense of purpose and aligns with her goal to make a positive impact on her community. Through her work with the Parks and Trails Foundation, Lynn aims to inspire others to enjoy the outdoors and find grounding in Cedar Park’s scenic landscapes. She believes that connecting with nature is a powerful way to enrich our lives and foster a sense of belonging and well-being.

Before joining the foundation, Darron served as the Trails and Active Transportation Committee Chair for Austin Outside, a coalition of regional outdoor advocacy groups. With a history of civic engagement,

Darron joined the Parks and Trails Foundation in early 2024, bringing a deep passion for trails and active transportation. Before joining the foundation, Darron served as the Trails and Active Transportation Committee Chair for Austin Outside, a coalition of regional outdoor advocacy groups. With a history of civic engagement, Darron has been appointed to the City of Cedar Park Bond Advisory Task Force, the Master Mobility Plan Advisory Committee, as well as several Leander ISD committees. Darron’s dedication to parks and trails is personal, whether through organizing Adopt-A-Park cleanup events or encouraging active transportation projects around the city. You can spot Darron around town on his signature electric big orange bike that he uses for everyday transportation around Cedar Park, covering over 1,000 miles each year, running errands, taking kids to school, or attending city council meetings.

Mike joined the Parks & Trails Foundation of Cedar Park in 2024 to further his dedication to Cedar Park's quality of life. Mike has lived in Cedar Park for five years, and his favorite park is the Cedar Bark Park where you can often find him and his dog Pepper. He and his wife Laura chose to move from Austin to Cedar Park to raise their two kids, Grant and Jacob. Mike has been in law enforcement for 13 years and is currently a patrol sergeant for the central Austin area. Mike co-founded Cedar Park Strong, a local Strong Towns group that advocates for walkability and land use reform. Mike enjoys volunteering with the Watch D.O.G.S. at his kids’ elementary school, biking around Cedar Park, and road tripping and camping with his kids at National Parks.

Curt started with the City as the urban forester and became the Parks & Recreation Director in 2006. When he started in Parks & Recreation, the department had about 13 employees, the City had a population of 15,000 and one park! Now the department has around 50 employees, the City has a population of over 80,000 and seven major parks. Park acreage went from 300 to over 1000! Curt has been known for his passion to save trees and kindness toward others.
