About Us

Our Mission & Vision

The Parks & Trails Foundation of Cedar Park works to enhance our community by supporting the preservation, enrichment, and accessibility of Cedar Park's parks, trails, and green spaces. At the Parks and Trails Foundation of Cedar Park, we imagine a future where individuals of all ages, abilities and backgrounds embrace the outdoors; finding solace, adventure, and inspiration in our parks, trails, and community. We envision abundant green spaces that preserve the natural world for generations to come.

How We Sprouted

The Foundation was started by a passionate group of residents who love our parks and want to help make them even more inviting and engaging. When the City's PACE (Parks, Arts and Community Enrichment) Board was dissolved, several board members took on the initiative of starting a Parks Foundation to carry on some of the work PACE had done. The City of Cedar Park does a fantastic job with our parks! We are here to bring awareness to the parks and encourage residents to be good stewards of what we have here.

Jenn is a Founding Board Member of the Parks  & Trails Foundation of Cedar Park, appointed by the city following her work on the City Council’s Parks, Arts and Community Enrichment Board. With the committee dissolved in favor of the foundation, she brings experience in advocating for the importance of parks and trails in promoting the overall health and wellness of the community.

A proud Cedar Park resident for 17 years, Jenn discovered her passion for the Cedar Park community while serving as Band Booster President for Vista Ridge High School. In her role as board Chair, she is most proud of the strong partnership the foundation has cultivated with the city’s parks department, as well as the launch of events designed to encourage community participation and fundraising.

Jenn lives in Cedar Park with her husband, Chris, and dog, Lucy, and enjoys traveling and spending time with their three adult children. In addition to her work with the foundation, she serves as a vice-president at a Fortune 150 healthcare insurance company, where she applies her leadership and strategic planning skills to drive innovation and success. She is excited to build the foundation into a valued partner for the city, local companies, and residents, ensuring that Cedar Park continues to enhance its Parks & Trails while growing and retaining its status as an ideal place for families to thrive.
