The 2023 Parmer Lane Fire left a lasting mark on Cedar Park, including the natural areas along the Brushy Creek North Fork Trail. This Texas Arbor Day, join the Parks & Trails Foundation of Cedar Park as we continue helping this landscape recover one tree at a time.
On Friday, November 6, 2026, we’re bringing volunteers together to plant 250 trees. As these trees grow, they’ll provide wildlife habitat, future shade, and a greener place for our neighbors to walk, explore, and enjoy the outdoors.
Last year, volunteers planted 200 trees in the fire-affected corridor. This year, we’re building on that work. Bring a friend, gather your coworkers, or make it a family tradition. There’s something special about returning to a trail and being able to say, “I helped plant that.”

Please bring empty gallon milk jugs for carting water, and bring your own shovel, gloves, wagons, and 5 gal buckets if you have them!
