Grant Program
New in 2026, The Parks & Trails Foundation of Cedar Park (PTFCP) Community Seed Grant Program was established to distribute small, targeted grants that empower Cedar Park residents, schools, and community organizations to invest directly in the parks, trails, and green spaces that define Cedar Park's quality of life.
The program advances the Foundation's core mission by:
- Mobilizing community-led action to enhance local parks and trail corridors.
- Lowering the barrier to participation for individuals and grassroots groups with meaningful project ideas.
- Amplifying the impact of PTFCP fundraising by directing dollars to projects with demonstrated community support.
- Building a culture of stewardship and civic pride across Cedar Park neighborhoods.
Grants funded through this program complement, but do not replace, the City of Cedar Park Parks Department's capital and maintenance budgets. All funded projects must align with the City's Parks Master Plan and receive any required City approvals prior to grant approval and implementation. PTFCP will coordinate approvals with the City.
