Memorial Bench Program

Create a lasting tribute in a Place that matters.

A memorial bench is a meaningful way to honor someone special while creating a lasting gift for the community. Through the Parks and Trails Foundation of Cedar Park Memorial Bench Program, families, friends, and organizations can dedicate a bench in one of our parks or public spaces in memory or recognition of a loved one.

Ready to take the next step?

 How the Program Works:

1. Submit a request for a memorial single bench or double bench to info@ptfcp.org. Include which park you are considering when sending your request. PTFCP works with the city and the donor to choose a good location for your memorial bench.
2. Make Your Contribution: Memorial benches are funded through a charitable contribution to PTFCP. The contribution supports the purchase and installation of the bench and helps cover ongoing site-related needs. 2026 Cost: $5000 for a single bench pad, $7500 for a double bench pad
3. Installation: Once the location, inscription, and installation details have been approved, the Parks Foundation and City parks staff coordinate installation.

Your memorial bench donation helps provide:
A permanent memorial in a public park
A comfortable place for visitors to rest and enjoy the outdoors
A personalized dedication recognizing someone important
Support for the care and enhancement of community parks

Memorial benches are more than a physical structure—they become part of the landscape and part of the community's shared memories.

Program Guidelines:

To ensure that memorial benches complement the character and maintenance needs of our parks, all requests are subject to program guidelines and site approval.

Please note:

Bench locations are subject to availability and approval.
Proposed inscriptions must meet PTFCP and City park guidelines.
PTFCP and city parks staff determine the appropriate bench style, materials, placement, and installation requirements.
Memorial benches become part of the park and are maintained according to the park's regular maintenance practices.
Installation timelines may vary based on site conditions, permitting, procurement, and other factors.
